For the live finals of the World Speed Chess Championships 2025, organisers wanted more than a tournament – they wanted a premium E-Sports spectacle. Across two days in February 2026, 180Studios in London became a fully immersive, high-energy competitive arena, delivering equal impact in-room and on global broadcast.
Vivid Broadcast delivered end-to-end event creative, production and broadcast.
We transformed three floors of the venue into a dynamic 700+ capacity E-Sports spectacle, designing and building all stage architecture, lighting, player desks, branding and dynamic LED content to project the pace and intensity of Speed Chess.
Alongside the main arena and fan lounges, we designed a separate broadcast-ready live commentary studio, for live expert analysis supported by engaging visual graphics.
The online experience was an elevated production: with a ceiling-slung Furio track system, Steadicam and integrated Sony FR7 player desk cameras.
From lounge styling to complete exterior and internal branding and wayfinding, every touchpoint was unified under one creative vision – positioning the World Speed Chess Championships as a flagship global E-Sports event.
