As Italy rose through the championship, the requirements for the national broadcaster increased and Links asked us to work alongside them to provide RAI with a scalable solution.

Vivid solution

We provided OB2 ‘Rum’ to cover the studio, pitch side reporter and pitch side camera. Rum often finds herself covering add ons at major sport events as its small size but powerful design is ideal for the often comlex audio and routing Requirements.

With its powerful Ultrix Router and RTS Odin comms system its the perfect unit for sport add on where there is often many different embedded feeds and specific audio distribution required, particularly when working for foreign broadcasters. OB2 performed superbly and resulted in a happy client all round.
