Over 100,000 eager SNKRS fans interacted live with the presenters and studio guests on these light entertainment style branded content broadcasts. The shows included a giant shoe box Jenga game, culminating in the reveal of a new product available in-app for the audience to buy. There was an expert panel session with Nike designers who interacted live with the audience as they voted on the spec for next year’s design. And the day was topped off with live performances from within the studio.

Vivid solution

Delivering multiple aspect ratio edits and live streams have become the norm in the smartphone world and this production was no exception, with a 9:16 aspect ratio being the sole delivery spec. This meant that we could really push the creativity with vertical viewing in mind.

Having the opportunity for the SNKRS community to interact and inform the content was key, so we integrated the polls and community votes within the screen layouts. For one segment of the show, this meant that the audience was being interviewed alongside the studio guests. Images were overlayed on the live stream matching the layout of the dynamically driven polls on the app side with the two systems timed to work together.

Feedback from the day was superb with one of the highest audiences ever and great levels of engagement.Thanks to the creative team at Studio Boum for having us on board!
