Client brief

Filming in unique venues across the UK and Ireland, we work closely with the BBC Newsnight production team and directors to find a suitable venue that serves the programme’s editorial objectives. Often locations have never been used for TV before and our job to make sure that they look amazing whilst reflecting the Newsnight brand.

Due to the nature of news and guest availability, lead times can often be very short, so we have plans in place ready to be implemented at short notice.

solution is adapted to the chosen venue and space available but generally consists of separate OB and SNG units, twinset generator, lighting, and sound crew. One of the advantages of being on location is having access to local guests and audiences; our sound solution generally includes boom operators and we include a range of grip to ensure full camera coverage.
